Title: Enhanced neuronal Met signalling levels in ALS mice delay disease onset

Year Published: 2011

Observation: Neuronal-enhanced Met levels prolonged survival by 13 days. Improved motor function, delayed onset of paralysis and attenuated MN loss in spinal cords of SOD1 mice with neuronal enhanced Met levels

Comment: increased neuronal Met in SOD1 mice prolongs life span, retards MN loss, and ameliorates motor performance
